Terrell’s endeavors off the field rival his achievements on the field. He’s a fixture within the Raven’s community efforts and has participated in fan forums, autograph signings, and on-field football skills challenges. In his hometown of Chandler AZ, Terrell provided uniforms, cleats and gloves to the Hamilton HS football program to show his appreciation for where it all began. He also sponsors a youth basketball team “Team Sizzle” in Baltimore; providing everything from equipment to travel and registration costs. Terrell not only financially backs Team Sizzle, but makes sure to give the members of the team guidance and also has a minimum GPA requirement to ensure that the kids are focused on their school work first and foremost. In addition to lending his time and likeness to the community, Terrell holds a celebrity weekend to support the William E. Proudford Sickle Cell Fund Inc. The event is held to increases awareness, education, treatment availability and research for sickle cell, and brings hope to families affected by the devastating disease. Terrell plays a major role in the success of this foundation and recruits celebrities across the country to join in and give support to the cause.
